Piano & Math,
Taught Right
Piano, math, and physics. One-on-one lessons for all levels, built around how you actually learn.
"If I were not a physicist, I would probably be a musician. I often think in music. I live my daydreams in music. I see my life in terms of music."
What I Teach
Whether you're learning your first scale or working through calculus, every session is built around you.

Piano Lessons
Classical technique, theory, sight-reading, and repertoire. RCM Level 8 trained, working toward Level 9. Lessons are structured to match your pace and goals.

Math & Physics Tutoring
K-12 math and physics. From algebra and geometry through to calculus, statistics, and mechanics. I focus on building real understanding, not just memorizing formulas.

Meet Ita
I hold a B.Sc. in Astrophysics from the University of Calgary with minors in Mathematics and Anthropology. I'm currently finishing my B.Sc. in Statistics from MacEwan University with a minor in Economics, while planning to pursue my Master's in Statistics at the University of Alberta. I've spent years working through challenging problems in math and physics, and I find it incredibly rewarding to help students build that same understanding and confidence.
Piano has been part of my life for just as long. I am RCM Level 8 certified and working toward RCM Level 10. Music, math, and physics share the same core: pattern recognition, discipline, and the satisfaction of working through something difficult until it clicks. I teach all three the same way, with patience, structure, and a focus on real understanding over shortcuts.
Sessions are collaborative. We figure out where you are, where you want to be, and build a clear path to get there.
